Medical Camp for Migrant Families at Nagavara
Ashirvad and the Manvi-Raichur Jesuit Mission Centre organized a medical camp at Nagavara for North Karnataka migrants. Initiated by Fr. Don and supported by St. Philomena’s Hospital, the event under the local leadership of Fr. Anthony Arul, offered free health check-ups, medicines, and welfare scheme registrations, promoting care, well-being, and community support.

Joy and Togetherness : Christmas at Ashirvad 2024
Ashirvad hosted a festive Christmas gathering for volunteers and staff. Guided by Fr. Arun Luis SJ and coordinated by Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, and anchored by Ms. Deekshitha, and supported by Mr. Anand Rao, the event included inspiring messages, fun games, competitions, Santa Claus, and a festive lunch, leaving everyone joyful, engaged, and united in celebration.

Unlocking Potential: English Education at Spandana Study Centres
Ashirvad CSC distributed Aarunya Phonics Workbooks across four Spandana Study Centres, Veerabadra Nagara 1 & 2, Ganapathi Slum, and Eranna Gudde. Motivated by Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, the event encouraged children to attend English classes, improve communication skills, and embrace learning with enthusiasm and dedication.

Sharing Happiness :Ashirvad Outreach
Ashirvad CSC, directed by Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, visited Ramaiah Colony Slum. Accompanied by Dot Dash Meredith and FIDES staff, they interacted with children, observed the impact of donated materials, and distributed biscuits and chocolates, bringing joy, gratitude, and reinforcing hope and learning at the study centre.

Equipping Young Minds at SSCs :Study Material Distribution 2024
Ashirvad CSC, under the guidance of Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, distributed study materials at Veerabadra Nagar 1 & 2, Ganapathy Slum, Heeranna Gudde, and Deepanjali Nagar centres. Children were welcomed back, motivated to study diligently, and received books and stationery, fostering hope, enthusiasm, and a strong start to the new academic year.

Inspiring Minds at SSCs: Study Materials for Underprivileged Children
In July 2024, Ashirvad CSC, instructed by Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, the staff team including Ms. Deekshitha distributed study materials at PK Colony and Anandapuram centres. Welcoming children back after summer break, Fr. Arul motivated them to study diligently, dream big, and value the support of generous donors, fostering hope, enthusiasm, and academic growth.

Ignatian Spirit Alive : Feast of St. Ignatius at Ashirvad
Ashirvad celebrated the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola with devotion and joy. Presided over by Fr. Amal SJ, the Mass highlighted Ignatian values of service and faith, preached by Fr. Dean SJ. Fr. Arun Luis SJ welcomed participants, while music, homilies, and a festive breakfast made the day memorable, inspiring all in attendance. Fr. Anthony Arul thanked all volunteers for their services.

SJU Study Centre Inauguration
Ashirvad CSC and CARE inaugurated the Spandana Slum Study Centre at St. Joseph’s University. Fr. Amal SJ, Fr. Arun Luis SJ, and Fr. Anthony Arul SJ inspired children with messages of dedication and learning. Independence Day skits, dances, and competitions added joy, concluding with refreshments and excitement. Ms. Deekshitha and Mr. Manohar coordinated the program.

Celebrating Learning and Togetherness at Veerabhadranagara-1
Veerabhadranagara-1 Spandana Study Centre hosted a joyful double celebration for Children’s Day and Fr. Anthony Arul SJ’s birthday, under the management of Ms. Deekshitha. Children and volunteers from nearby centres joined. Highlights included cake-cutting, heartfelt messages, and the distribution of laptops to Aarunya Volunteers, empowering them for phonics teaching. The event celebrated learning, service, and community spirit. Fr. Arul inspired the children with his beautiful sharing.

Ashirvad organized a day-long Siddi Development Program at its campus, highlighting empowerment and cultural pride among the Siddi community from Mundgod, Uttara Kannada. Rev. Fr. Kids dressed as national icons, freedom fighters, scientists, and historical figures, showcasing creativity and patriotism. With games, gifts, and tokens of appreciation, the event combined learning, fun, and inspiration, leaving participants proud and joyful.
