In a time marked by fear, uncertainty, and suffering, the Ashirvad team rose with compassion, care, and an unwavering commitment to serve. Amidst the devastating impact of the pandemic—when the threat of a deadly virus loomed large and livelihoods came to a halt—Ashirvad stood as a beacon of hope under the leadership of Fr. Arun Luis, Director and Superior of Ashirvad. The Jesuit community, along with the dedicated staff team, braved the risk of infection and stepped forward to support the hungry and the hopeless. With courage and determination, Ashirvad reached out to the most vulnerable—those who could not afford even a single meal. Through the distribution of essential provision kits, they ensured that no one in their care was left behind. This noble act not only fed the bodies of the poor but also nourished their spirits with the message: You are not alone—Ashirvad is with you.
