Knowledge & Smiles: Study Material Distribution at Spandana
Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, with Ms. Deekshitha and Ms. Rakshitha, visited Veerabadra Nagar 2, Heeranna Gutte, Ganapathy Slum, and Deepanjali Nagara study centres. They distributed study materials, encouraged children to value education, and inspired them to work hard, leaving the students joyful, motivated, and grateful.

Fun, Festivities, and Friendship – Bala Mela 2023
On 3rd December, Ashirvad, with Dot Dash Meredith and St. Joseph’s institutions, hosted Bala Mela 2023 for Spandana students. Around 450 children enjoyed games, rides, cultural performances, a magic show, and received gift kits. The day celebrated joy, learning, and togetherness, leaving lasting memories for all.

Fostering Growth Through Collaboration: Parent-Teacher Meeting
At Avalahalli, teachers and parents discussed students’ academic progress, behaviour, and participation. Guided by Fr. Arun Luis SJ and Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, the meeting fostered open dialogue, collaboration, and trust, appreciating students’ efforts and volunteers’ commitment, reinforcing a shared dedication to nurturing a supportive learning environment.

Annual Day & Karnataka Rajyotsava at SJU Spandana Study Centre
Ashirvad and Spandana celebrated Annual Day and Karnataka Rajyotsava at SJU Xavier Hall. Children performed dances, patriotic songs, and games, receiving gifts and prizes. Guided by Fr. Arun Luis SJ and Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, the event celebrated culture, achievement, and the joy of learning.

Healthy Habits, Happy Lives: Spandana Health Awareness Session
Ashirvad’s CSC organized a Health and Hygiene session at SJU for Spandana children. Mrs. Agatha from the Sumati Salomi Foundation engaged students on hygiene, dental care, and nutrition. Guided by Fr. Arun Luis SJ and Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, children gained practical tips and received school bags.

Shaping Leaders: Personality and Skill Development Program
Around 50 youth from Spandana Study Centres attended a one-day training at Ashirvad, focusing on personal growth, leadership, and skill development. Guided by Fr. Arun Luis SJ, Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, and expert facilitators, participants learned practical tools, discovered talents, and gained inspiration to grow into responsible, confident individuals.

Compassion in Action: Medical Support for Migrant Children
Under the guidance of Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, Ashirvad, in collaboration with the Diagharh Organization and St. Philomena’s Hospital, organized a medical camp for nearly 100 children and their mothers. Free check-ups, medicines, and health guidance were provided, fostering awareness, care, and healthier futures for the Kempapura community.

Igniting Enthusiasm: Ramaiah Colony Motivational Program
Ashirvad CSC, in collaboration with FIDES, organized a motivational session for Ramaiah Colony students. Led by Fr. Anthony Arul SJ and Sr. Sumi, the session included games, interactive activities, and inspiring stories, encouraging regular attendance, discipline, and dedication to studies, leaving children motivated, joyful, and eager to learn. Manohar from CARE and Bikram from CSC also assisted in this program.

Building Leaders Through Service: Volunteer Training at SJU
An orientation at St. Joseph’s University introduced 16 volunteers to the Spandana Study Centres’ mission. Guided by Fr. Arun Luis SJ and Fr. Anthony Arul SJ, volunteers learned about the centres’ history, goals, and their role in supporting KS Garden children, leaving them motivated, inspired, and ready to serve.
